Sara Samson grew up in Ontario but found her way to Calgary after stays in Lake Louise, Alta. and Halifax, N.S. She holds a popular culture degree from Brock University and a journalism degree from the University’s of King’s College. She’s worked for various publications including East Coast Living, Halifax Magazine, Vitamin Daily and Avenue. While there’s much of the world Sara still wants to explore, she’s proudly been to every province in Canada and can’t pick a favourite.

Coolest place you've ever visited and why: Hong Kong because it's truly a world city and the Greek Islands because it's really as amazing as people say it is.

Favourite travel memory: Zip-lining through the jungle in northern Australia.

Best travel advice: Just go.
